This is probably the ONLY review for this game in the English language, since I have never seen one in any english website.
This fighting game is based on the anime MAR Heaven. The fighting is full 3D, and the character roster is around 14 playable characters.
The graphics are cel shaded and nice looking, with a very distinctive style of shading that makes the lighting of the characters very dramatic looking in their appearance.
The same can be said for the stage arenas.
The music is pretty good and somewhat catchy.
There are many modes to experience,a shop to purchase ARM SLOT ACCESSORIES/ITEMS, and gallery of artwork.
There is also team based fighting along with one character versus one character.
The story is pretty good also. In story mode, the game lets you, to certain degrees, choose which battles to take on first, due to a "path tree" type set up. So, you'll have replay value in going through the story mode again and taking different "paths" on second play through.
The things that are most in number to unlock is ARMS, or better put, slot items for your ARMS.
Each character has a good number of combos for their ARMS at their disposal, and depending which ARM FORM you activate during battle, that character's combos and special moves will change accordingly to that activated ARM SLOT item.
In other words, the ARM SLOT customation, is essentially just like your personal character customation. Thanks to this, the game play is deeper than you would first expect it to be.
The more you play, practice, and immerse yourself in understanding the game's fighting engine, the better the action will get.
I recommend this anime based fighter.
