This disc has the Samurai Spirits games from number I, all the way through to number VI.
That's 6 games in one disc. Since it's a compilation disc.
This japan only version of the Samurai Shodown anthology game released in the West is better because the Western version had most of the blood and fatalities taken out of the game. This one keeps the gore intact.
The music is fanastic, especially in some of the stage areas.
The graphics are good, but not great. But still good. It depends which of the 6 games you are playing.
It is not a perfect arcade port, if I remember correctly, the graphics from the Dreamcast version and fom the arcades are much better looking. At least, in regards to Samurai Spirits 1-3.
The story mode in this japan version also has all of the dialogue from the story/arcade modes intact, unlike the Western version that recieved cuts and edits.
*NOTE*
I own the Western version, but I know from other people who have played both the u.s. and japanese versions of this game, the differences between both.
The japanese version has everything intact. Nothing has been edited or cut out of all 6 games.
The sixth game is seperated from the other five in regards to memory card saving, because it is much bigger in size. All of the characters from the previous five games are in the sixth game, which makes the character roster HUGE! In only the ps2 version, you can even play as the animals that are mascots of the weapon fighters.
Good compilation disc. Good fighting games. My personal favorites is the 4th and 6th sequels.
