A good alternative to the Samurai Shodown games.

Put simply, this disc is a good alternative to the Samurai Spirits/Shodown games.

There are two games on one disc. Lat Blade 1 AND 2.
It is very, very import friendly in that not only is the main menu in english...but the game gives you the option of switching the subtitles from japanese to english. That means you can fully follow and enjoy its good story mode.

The graphics are pretty good. Better than most of the samurai spirits games. The backgrounds are really nice to look at also.
The music is good, but in many stages it is non-existant because SNK choose to not place any music soundtrack in some of the stages and decided to display the atmospheric sound effects of the nature settings of the stages.
Good sound effects in general and great sound effects of swords clashing.

The gameplay is great. What you would expect from SNK. All of the blood and fatalities are intact. The fatalities are interesting to watch in that the fatality involves the slain character's upper body...sliding off the lower half, in a diagonal slide.
Pretty cool.

I definately recommend this game.
