Graphics-super high quality sprite work can be found here. The characters look awesome, and the game uses a sophisticated engine to render the sprites in a layering method. That means that the sprites for the clothes the characters wear, rips, tears, and gets torn as damage progresses throughout the arcade mode or through any basic match.
The backgrounds are beautiful 3D backgrounds comparable to NEOGEO Battle Coliseume.
Music-is great. The music fits very well to the game's characters and the game's settings and storyline.
Gameplay-is sorta like KOF in terms of its feel and attributes. It has a more combo friendly feel to it than KOF though.
There is a defensive special guage as well as a offensive super guage, which really makes the game stand apart from the rest of fighters.
There is a dash option that also plays a part in the strategy of the game as well.
A few characters make up the roster(12 actually), but each character has a large moveset, and each has varying moves separate from each other.
It is a very good fighter and has a different feel to it in comparison to other more famous fighting games from Capcom or SNK.
*NOTE* this game cannot be booted up by SwapMagic.
It can only be played with either a modchipped ps2 or a japanese ps2.
